More than twenty years after its inauguration, the Terramara Park in Montale, where archaeological remains are flanked by life-size reconstructions, has taken up the challenge of combining the real and the virtual by making spaces strongly marked by materiality interact with the digital dimension.

In the environment that preserves the remains of the village and in a new exhibition space dedicated to funerary rituals, video and audio installations, virtual reconstructions, holographic projections and immersive environments increase the accessibility of the Montale Park by favouring the understanding of processes, events, and archaeologically documented contexts in a more direct, inclusive and engaging manner.
